Shannon Perreault MS, BCBA, LBA
Shannon has worked with children and adults with varying disabilities for over 20 years. This includes experience in personal attendant care, para-educator for special education in public schools, to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Shannon has worked in the field of ABA for over 4 years. Her passion for the field was fueled by wanting to learn more to help her son who has Autism and her brother-in-law who has Down’s Syndrome.
Shannon saw that ABA was not exclusively for children with Autism but it could be utilized for any person, including persons with varying disabilities and all ages. This includes but is not limited to Autism, Down’s Syndrome, and Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. After seeing how ABA was positively changing her client’s and their families’ lives, she decided to further her education to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
With the overwhelming support from her husband and kids, along with the steadfast support from her supervisors at ABC Behavior/Hi-5 ABA; Shannon completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Liberty University and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue Global University. A little over a month after she completed her Master’s Degree, Shannon became a Board Certified/Licensed Behavior Analysis.
Shannon identified an overwhelming need for Applied Behavior Analysis services in her community, so she decided to open Functional Behavior Interventions For All, Inc. in Fauquier County. FBI4All will be proudly serving Fauquier, Culpeper, and Stafford counties.
With her unique experience of being a parent of a child with a disability, working in the schools in the special education class, and working in the private sector of ABA; Shannon hopes to work with families using a collaborative approach to improve socially significant behaviors with her clients. Shannon has experience with early intervention, verbal behavior, life skills, behavior management, IEPs, collaboration with schools, families, and other professionals, and parent training.
It is Shannon’s belief that “all people deserve the opportunity to improve themselves and to live THEIR best life! All people deserve dignity, grace, and respect on their journey to their best selves.”
